WOOL BARN is the trading name of WOOL BARN LIMITED, a knitwear label registered in England and Wales and based in Birmingham.

What we make

We knit womenswear and nothing else: jumpers, cardigans, knitted dresses, two-piece sets and vests. Five categories, four yarns, sizes UK 6 to 18. The range is built on a set of blocks we keep and refine rather than redraw each season, which is why a cardigan bought two years ago still sits alongside this year’s. Everything is knitted in England and finished by hand.

How we work

We knit in small lots after orders come in, which is why dispatch takes 5-8 working days rather than shipping the same day. It also means we are not sitting on unsold stock in colours nobody wanted. The trade-off is honest: you wait a little, and in exchange the yarn is dyed close to when it is knitted, and the lot is finished on its own rather than blended to hide variation.
